Last week Lola, Emmett, Maggie, her mom, niece & I went to the Children’s Parade to meet up with our neighborhood friends. Emmett loved the drum corps.

Haircut!

Emmett had his one year check up last Monday (23rd). Physically healthy, still no words but very social, overall – no worries.

His stats:

Weight: 24lbs, 7oz – 75 percentile
Height: 30 3/4 inches tall – 85 percentile
Head circumference: 49.5 centimeters – 97 percentile

He had three vaccines & a blood draw 🙁 he’s slightly anemic so we’ve added a supplement with iron to his diet.

This is the post where I finally accept that Emmett needs a hair cut.

Here is Emmett in one of the most incredible sweaters ever made (thank you Aunt Jeanne!). It zips up the back (awesome!) … thanks to our ridiculously cool spring we’ve been able to give this sweater a second life.

What a wonderful year it’s been! You’ve taught me more about myself than I’ll ever teach you, happy birthday little boy!
