Teeth in action

The holiday season has apparently commenced because I haven’t found time for 5 minutes to say – our boy has teeth!

On November 20th, at six months and one day, Emmett’s first tooth poked through – one of the bottom two center teeth. Three days later it’s neighbor popped up. So, he’s showing off two little bottom center teeth with every grin.

Emmett’s first Thanksgiving went off without a hitch! Baba, Oma, Aunt Alison, Aunt Lindsay and her boyfriend Ryan all stayed with us for the week. Their visit started with collecting the final supplies for our 100 mile Thanksgiving meal and ended with helping us stand our enormous Christmas tree (also Emmett’s first!)

6 months! Seriously, where does the time go?

In general Emmett is a pretty easy going guy – lots of smiles and chuckles. He thinks Lola is just about the most interesting thing ever, loves food, rolls over & has just started pushing himself up into the crawling position for very short bursts.

He goes to bed at 6:15 every evening & wakes up 1 or 2 times a night…. looking forward to the days where he sleeps all night but very clearly remember the nights that he didn’t sleep at all. Thank you Emmett, I’ll take four hours of consecutive sleep anyday after the hell you put me through up front 🙂

Today was E’s 6 month check up, four shots – clean bill of health. His stats:

Weight – 18 lbs 10 oz 75% percentile
Height – 27 inches 75% percentile
Head Circumference – 46.1 cm 95% percentile
